Sisters of Mary Immaculate

Christ the King Parish has an association with the Catechist Sisters of Mary Immaculate Help of Christians, commonly known as the Sisters of Mary Immaculate (SMI).  The SMI serve the needs of people in the United States and six other countries.  Their charisms include evangelizing, educating, and visiting the sick and homebound.

They render Christ-like care of the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of the souls through their dispensaries, hospitals and homes for senior citizens.  One such home for seniors is the Bishop Morrow Personal Care Home, located across from our church grounds at 118 Park Road, Leechburg, PA, 15656.  For directions, visit our Directions page and change the destination to Bishop Morrow Personal Care Home.

The Associates of Mary, a lay organization in association with the SMI, offer its members opportunities to see more clearly their own lives as a ministry, sharing in the missionary nature of the Church through the spiritual and apostolic charism of the SMI congregation. To contact any of the Sisters of Mary Immaculate at the Bishop Morrow Personal Care Home, phone 724-845-2828.
