Father Alan N. Polczynski

Father Alan N. Polczynski was installed as Pastor of Christ the King Parish on September 25, 2023.
Father Alan is a native of Lower Burrell and a 1984 graduate of Burrell High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in theater arts from Point Park College (now Point Park University) in Pittsburgh, as well as a Master of Divinity degree and a master’s degree in systematic theology from Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe.
He was ordained to the priesthood on June 2, 2007. Father Alan has served as Parochial Vicar at several Greensburg-area parishes and as Chaplain at Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School. He also served as Pastor of Saint Thomas More University Parish in Indiana; Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Coral and Lucernemines; and the partnered parishes of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish in Ford City and Saint Lawrence Parish in Cadogan.
Father Alan has also served as Assistant Episcopal Master of Ceremonies and Episcopal Master of Ceremonies for the Diocese of Greensburg. He is currently completing his licentiate in canon law through The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
